Located about 30 miles south of Knoxville, Tennessee, Camp Wesley Woods is a beautiful 710-acre retreat 20 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains
National Park. Streams, cliffs, mountain forest and river frontage provide stimulating settings for outdoor recreation and education. Many trails diverge in our woods, leading the inquisitive from valley to ridge tops abundant with wildflowers and wildlife.
The camp is owned and operated by The United Methodist Church and has been serving campers
since 1960. Our educational opportunities place an emphasis on living, growing and learning together.
Camp Wesley Woods offers many types of programs in areas including Environmental Education, Christian Education, Adventure Education and Summer Camping. We offer weekend retreat opportunities as well as programs from a half day to a full week. If you choose, you can utilize our programs as a forefront to addressing topics such as spiritual growth, community service, family, teamwork and outdoor experience.
We have many different types of groups that take part in enjoying the Camp Wesley Woods experience. From public schools and colleges/universities to Girl Scouts and church groups, there is a place for you here at Camp Wesley Woods. You provide the group. We provide the programs and facilities. Or, you provide the group/programs and we provide the facilities.
